Meet Your Stylist
Jhoselin Uzeda
My name is Jhoselin Uzeda and like most hair stylist, it has always been my dream to be one. I have been in the industry since I was 15 years old where I began as a shampoo hair assistant and fell in love with the art of styling .I began taking cosmetology classes in high school during my junior and senior year. After graduating high school, I continued my cosmetology education and attended Paul Mitchell The School in Tysons corner. Once I graduated, I began working at Vidal Sasson as a colorist assistant and grew tremendously as a stylist!
My journey officially began in 2011. Since then, I have become a certified ABCH colorist and a certified barber. In addition, I grew a passion for teaching and became a cosmetology instructor and an educator for a company of 10K stylists. I have also traveled throughout the DMV and taught the latest in color and haircutting techniques. As my career progressed, I became a salon leader of 30 people and worked side by side with the most talented hair stylists in the best salons in Arlington and Georgetown.
Now, in this new journey, I want to introduce J'Ama Hair Studio! J'Ama Hair Studio represents love, acceptance, and beauty. With my Hair Studio, I want all my clients to feel beautiful, welcomed, and most importantly, I want everyone that walks in through my doors to trust they will be met with the best quality!
